LMF-Series for MAC 5- Light Mounted Foregrip
The LMF-Series for MAC 5 is a direct replacement Light Mounted Foregrip for the original handguard on your MP5 (compatible with MAC 5, POF MP5, MKE AP5, and Zenith ZF-5 variants), HK53, or HK94/SP5, and provides high-intensity illumination required to dominate a low-light tactical situation. Each LMF features a robust LED and optimized reflector that creates a brilliant beam optimized for close- to medium-range threat ID.
The unit is IP-X6 waterproof and features a single momentary & constant-on pressure-pad switch integrated into the right side of the forend, allowing positive control of the light while maintaining an ergonomic support grip. It also features an ON/OFF cut-off switch for transportation in a soft case. As an added bonus, the bezel features standard scout light threading, allowing use of other popular bezels. The MAC 5 LMF body is molded of glass-filled reinforced nylon and uses two CR123A batteries (included) to generate 700 lumens and 9,000 candela for 5 hours.

Shipping was impressively fast. My order went out right away and arrived quickly in great shape. The light output has a solid throw, and I like having both constant on and momentary activation. I am also impressed by the suppressor compatibility I get with this placement. I can run my HUX 9K, Spectre 9, and Octane 9K without issue. I do have one complaint. The pressure pad placement feels awkward. It would be better if it were more ergonomic and offered modular placement for right handed and left handed setups, or could be swapped to either side. As it is, the current location does not make much sense for my use.

I am thoroughly impressed with this item, I had wanted this for quite a while to finish my MAC5. It installed incredibly easy, is very comfortable to shoot with, the light for what I wanted it for is pretty good. I appreciate the development of this product at a more than reasonable price point compared to other options on the market. If you’re looking to complete a MAC5, this is the product you’re looking for.
The MAC 5 LMF-Series Handguard is great quality for your money. It beats Surefire price and quality in my opinion and experience. Thank you Military Armament Corporation for bringing another great product to the firearms market.
