    Clean part, definitely good machining. Finish is consistent and even. QD cup is good fit with all my links and the pic rail and true and sized correctly. 4/5 for thinking a slight improvement would be a scratch resistant coating for in the inside where it contacts the surface of the barrel and mag tube

    I’m usually not much on doing reviews, but it is a pleasure to write about my MAC purchases! As with my 1014 shotgun, this barrel clamp is right on target. Simple, quality made, and positions perfectly. Of course it has to be removed for gun cleaning, but takes seconds to do, no problem. I am trying an idea to protect the black anodized finish on my gun by using pieces of oil lamp Wick material cut to size between the clamp and barrel/mag tube.

    This is a simple device that lets you attach a flashlight onto the gun, but the problem is in the design. It clamps between the tubes which makes you have to unclamp it every time you field strip the gun. This is a hassle and could scratch up both tubes in the process. They should've made a simple circular clamp on just the barrel with the picatinny rail attachment. That way the field stripping is easy with no parts removal. So if you MUST have a front flashlight, this is the cheapest way but get ready for extra field stripping effort.
