    Easy to install. Must remove sling ring before install. Product is well made and light weight.

    The hand guard is well made and looks so good it should be illegal here in California. The install was a little tricky to get things to line up but there is a video that helps and after you do it a few times its a no brainer. You will need a pair of snap ring pliers and a hex headed screw driver. Theres only 2 hang ups i found with this hand guard and they’re not all that bad. But for 1. You cannot run a bolt release shim with this hand guard intalled and for 2. The field strip ability. Its not practical compared to the original hand guards ease of assembly and disassembly. But other than that I found no other issues with this hand guard and highly recommend. Thanks SDS
